- Continue with Google
If sign-in fails:
- Make sure you have an internet connection.
- Close and reopen PicTrade.
- Try signing in again with the same Apple or Google account.
- If the problem continues, contact support below.
Using a different Apple or Google account may create or access a different PicTrade account.
Creating or joining a trade
To create a trade, follow the in-app steps and share the trade's invite QR code with the people you want to trade with.
To join a trade, scan the host's PicTrade QR code.
Make sure participants are joining the correct trade before continuing.
Photo and video access
PicTrade needs access to your photo library to:
- find media that matches the trade;
- determine which items you already have;
- send approved photos and videos;
- save received media;
- let you choose an optional profile photo or trade cover.
If PicTrade cannot access your library, check your iPhone's Settings and make sure PicTrade has the necessary Photos permission.
Transfers
Original traded photos and videos are transferred directly between participant devices.
For the best results:
- keep both devices awake;
- keep PicTrade open while a transfer is active;
- keep the devices connected to a reliable network;
- avoid VPNs or restrictive networks if devices cannot discover each other.
If a transfer is interrupted, reopen PicTrade and return to the active trade. PicTrade is designed to continue from the current trade state rather than requiring already received items to be sent again.
Missing photos
PicTrade compares protected fingerprints of participating devices' media to determine what each person is missing.
If something you expected does not appear:
- confirm the media is in the owner's Photos library;
- confirm it falls within the trade's selected event/date criteria;
- confirm the owner allowed that media to be shared;
- return to the trade and let PicTrade compare again if needed.
Purchases
PicTrade purchases are processed through Apple's App Store.
If you have already purchased access but it does not appear:
- reopen PicTrade;
- make sure you are using the same PicTrade account;
- use Restore Purchases where available.
Apple controls App Store charges and refund decisions.
Managing subscriptions
PicTrade Pro subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account.
You can view or cancel subscriptions through:
iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions
Deleting your PicTrade account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
Account deletion
You can delete your PicTrade account inside the app:
Profile → Delete account
Account deletion removes or invalidates the account and associated sign-in sessions.
Certain App Store transaction records may remain when necessary for purchase restores, refunds, revocations, or transaction-security purposes.
Photos and videos already saved to your photo library are not automatically deleted.
